The Authors of Sensual Soul Shine
Carrie Myers
Carrie J. Myers, MSW, RYT 500, author, poet, program developer, speaker, wife, mother, and grandmother, has been writing since she was 10 years old. Her poetry, which reflects the phases of her life, has helped her process her journey along the way. As a yoga instructor, she discovers new ways to dig deep into her subconscious, pulling from her practice, the words that hold higher meaning and growth. She hopes to inspire change in the hearts and souls of her readers, while holding space for each interpretation to resonate with each soul. Carrie is passionate about creating and recognizing the beauty in the mess that life can throw at us, at times. Her goal is to help readers to rediscover their authentic selves, revive, create, and excavate their light from within.

Katie Weiner
Katie Weiper was born and raised in central Indiana. Tapping into her lifelong passion for kids, Katie graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelors in Education. She has a zest for constantly learning and loves teaching and helping others. Spending life with her dream husband whom she met in high school is one of her favorite parts of life. The two live just north of Indianapolis in a suburb with their four beautiful young children and a rambunctious golden retriever, all of whom Katie believes to be her most important teachers. Katie started on a quest to break social constraints, find true health and live authentically and with purpose almost a decade ago. She hopes to encourage those around her to live in their truth and follow their soul’s purpose. She will be forever indebted to her late mother-in-law, Lisa, for planting seeds of holistic, true living in Katie’s husband and within herself during the time they had together on earth. In her free time, Katie loves reading and learning, being in the sun, especially with her toes in the sand, spending time on the water at their family’s lakehouse, snuggled up with her husband and laughing with and learning from her children. Katie enjoys writing and has had a dream of becoming a published author. She is thrilled to be a part of this collaborative book.
